While the 2023 election for Governor of Kentucky is about two years away, jockeying for position has reportedly begun.
LEX18 in Lexington is reporting that Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts Mike Harmon is planning to enter the race for Governor.
Harmon was first elected auditor in November 2015. He was elected to a second term in 2019.
The 54-year-old Republican previously served in the Kentucky House of Representatives for 13 years in the 54th District.
