Fire Destroys Log Cabin in Jamestown Saturday Evening

A Jamestown home was destroyed by fire late Saturday night. The Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department was called to a log cabin structure on Bunny Trail Lane, in the Little Louisville community, just off boat dock road, south of the Jamestown square.

Fire Chief Jeff Landers told WJRS News the structure, owned by Shelly Stoyell, was completely engulfed when firefighters arrived. Some nearby outbuildings were saved from damage, according to Landers, who said his department was on the scene for about three hours.
