The Russell County Public Library is excited to kick off Summer Learning 2021 with Kentucky Shakespeare on Friday, June 4th.
Kentucky Shakespeare is a not-for-profit professional theatre company based in Louisville. Grounded in the works of Shakespeare, they enrich our community by presenting accessible, professional theatre experiences that educate, inspire, and entertain people of all ages.
Kentucky Shakespeare will be providing workshops in the morning and afternoon for children, tweens, and teens. Wrapping up the day will be their performance of “Living History: We the People” at 5 pm for all ages. “We the People” brings key events from United States history to life, focusing on our rights and responsibilities as citizens in a democratic society today.
