Man arrested after being clocked driving 110 mph on parkway

On Tuesday morning, May 18, 2021, just before 3amCT, officers with the Columbia Police Department clocked a vehicle on the Cumberland Parkway at over 110mph and initiated a traffic stop.

Upon making contact with operator, a male subject attempted throw an object from the vehicle. The object was located and found to be a pipe with suspected methamphetamine inside of it. The party was taken into custody with no further incident.

Robert Pandolfi, 49, with a listed residence of Lakewood, California, has been charged with numerous traffic violations as well as possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with physical evidence, and possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine.

Officer Josh Durbin was the arresting Officer. He was assisted on scene by Officer Nathan Bradshaw.
