Lindsey Wilson Football wins national championship

The Lindsey Wilson College Blue Raiders are NAIA National Champions.

The Blue Raiders capped off an undefeated season with an impressive 45-13 win over Northwestern (Iowa) Monday night in Louisiana to earn the program’s first-ever national championship after 11 years since the program began.

The 11-0 Blue Raiders never trailed in the game, a fitting end to a season in which the Blue Raiders never had a victory margin less than 21 points.

The Blue Raiders roster includes sophomore wide receiver Tate Richardson, who appeared in two games for the Blue Raiders this season.

LWC will also add another Russell County standout next year in running back Collin Darnell.
