Larry (Cannonball) Appleby, age 59, of Jamestown, died Sunday, May 16th, at Baptist Hospital , Lexington, KY.
Larry was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on December 11, 1961, a son of the late Susie (Maynard) Russell and Hugh Appleby, Sr.
Larry is survived by the following:
A daughter, Melinda Belt, of Jamestown; Four sons: Larry (L.R.) Appleby, Barry Appleby, and Nathan Appleby, all of Jamestown, and Jimmy Appleby, of Russell Springs.
Six sisters survive: Judy Mann, Debbie King, and Cynthia Montgomery, all of Jamestown; Carolyn Williams and Virginia Huddleston, both of Russell Springs; and Kim Fayard, of Georgia.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Opal Hall Appleby, a daughter Dianna Carol Appleby, a brother Hugh Appleby, Jr., and four sisters: Connie Jo Appleby, Donna McGowan, Beverly Collins, and Marilyn McQueary.
Religious Service at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, May 19th, with Bro. Donnie Brockman, Bro. Phillip Miller, and Jeff Hoover officiating.
Visitation is Tuesday, May 18th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, located North Main Street in Jamestown.
Interment at Jamestown Cemetery. All persons attending are asked to please wear a facial covering and follow Covid rules.
