Laker JV team defeats Casey County

The Russell County Lakers JV team shut out Casey County last night, winning 8-0.

Mason Buras and Wyatt Dye combined for the shutout on the mound. Buras pitched three innings, giving up just one hit and striking out two. Dye pitched one inning, giving up no hits and striking out one.

Camden Carpenter, Logan Lawless, and Nic Popplewell drove in two runs each. Adam Walters also drove in a run for the Lakers.
