Lady Laker Softball wins on the road at Casey County

Kiera Kemp received her first varsity start pitching for the Lady Lakers, and went the distance to pick up the win for the Lady Lakers at Casey County by a score of 12-3.

Kemp pitched seven innings, giving up three runs on six hits and struck out six.

Katie Owens, Camryn Woodrum, and Emma Popplewell drove in two runs each, and Kemp, Addy Davis, Sophie Shearer, and Tarryn Reynolds drove in one each.

The Lady Lakers finished with 18 hits on the night.

The Lady Lakers are now 13-6 on the season and will hit the road today to take on Barren County. The Lady Lakers fell to Barren County in their first matchup on Monday by a score of 9-1.
