Voters in Russell County should be aware of upcoming important dates regarding the November general election. Below are a few dates to know that will be coming up soon.
Oct. 5 – Last Day to register to vote
This can be done online through the Kentucky Secretary of State’s portal at elect.ky.gov or at the Russell County Clerk’s Office.
Oct. 9 – Last day to request an absentee ballot
Anyone who is concerned about being exposed to COVID-19 can request an absentee ballot online govoteky.com or through the Russell County Clerk’s Office.
Oct. 13 – Early in-person voting begins
Early in-person voting begins and can be done at the RECC Building and the LEVEE Building in Jamestown from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday-Friday or on Saturdays at the Clerk’s office from 8 a.m. – noon the following dates in October: Oct. 17, Oct. 24, and Oct. 31.
