A Russell Springs man was arrested on Tuesday evening on alcohol related charges.
According to jail records, Charles Elkins, age 60 was arrested by Trooper Billy Begley with the Kentucky State Police and charged with Operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs .08 aggravating circumstances 4th degree, Possession of open alcohol beverage in motor vehicle and driving on a DUI suspended license 3rd offense aggravating circumstances.
Elkins was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center a little before 9:00 Tuesday evening.
