The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team will host district rival Cumberland County this evening.
First pitch for this evening’s game between the Lady Lakers and Lady Panthers is scheduled for 5:30 at the Kay Morris Softball Complex.
The two teams have played once this season, as the Lady Panthers picked up a 7-5 win in Burkesville last Tuesday.
The Lady Lakers enter the matchup at 14-9 with a 2-2 mark in district play. The Lady Panthers enter at 11-10 with a 4-1 mark in district play.
