According to reports, the accident occurred when Trevor Smith, 46, of Russell Springs, was operating a 1994 Toyota truck. Smith was apparently entering the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway in the eastbound lane when he lost control, left the roadway, hit a rock wall, and overturned.
Smith was transported by Adair County EMS to TJ Health Columbia for treatment. The accident was investigated by the Columbia City Police Department.
