Gas prices in our region of Kentucky are five cents more expensive this week at $2.33, according to Triple A.
Part of the fluctuation can be attributed to stock levels, which decreased for a third straight week. In the Energy Information Administration’s latest report, total stocks measure at 47.9 million barrels.
Nationally, the national average held steady on the week at $2.60. Today’s national average is six cents cheaper than last month and 16-cents cheaper than this time last year.
