The Russell County High School Bass Fishing team is sending one team to the Bassmasters High School national championship in Paris, Tennessee on Kentucky Lake. Kyle Roy and Jesse York will be in competition against 250 teams on August 8-10.
RCHS is sending one junior division team to be in the Bassmasters junior division national championship in Carol County, Tennessee on Carol County Lake. Lucas Wray and Will Stephens will be in competition against 53 teams August 6-7.
The bass fishing team is also having a car wash this Saturday, beginning at 8 am at the new FiveStar in Russell Springs to help raise money for the national championship trip.
