Susan Holder, 74, of Russell Springs, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. 
Born December 28, 1951, in Pulaski County, she was a daughter of the late Arnis Veston and Eunice Ilene Gaskin Holder. After graduating from high school, she immediately began working at the Bank of Jamestown. At the bank, Susan dedicated 52 years of service and then retired as Vice President. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, knitting, flower gardening, and feeding the birds. Susan was also a huge Atlanta Braves fan. However, her greatest joy was spending time and taking care of her many cats.
Survivors include two brothers, Dale Alan “Jim” (and Lola) Holder, of Russell Springs, and Don Wayne Holder, of Brooksville, Florida; many nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Marjorie Whitis.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of services.
