Audrey Mae Anderson, of Russell Springs, formerly of Pike County, passed away at her home Monday, August 10, 2026. She was 62 years of age.
Born December 20, 1963, in Pike County, Mae was a daughter of the late Victor and Ada May Anderson. She was a cosmetologist and a jack of all trades that could do anything she set her mind to do. Mae enjoyed gardening and cooking and was a very talented artist. She was the favorite “Auntie” of her nieces and nephews, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her three sisters; Eva Dene Mounts, of Phyllis, Avenelle (and Carmel) Ramey, of Lick Creek, and Phyllis (and Charlie) Adkins, of Russell Springs; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Carmel Anderson and Lonnie “Bo” Anderson; and a nephew, Lawrence Adkins.
Funeral services are 1:00 PM CST Friday, August 14, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home with Brother Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Darnell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 13, will resume after 8:00 AM Friday morning and continue until time of services.
