Sandra Gail Dix, of Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset. She was 56 years of age.
Born on May 22, 1970, in Livonia, Michigan, she was a daughter of the late James Richard and Bessie Catharine Jackson Dix. Sandra was a homemaker and a hard worker. She loved her family and was everyone’s best friend. She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift shopping.
Sandra is survived by her children, Cody Duane Dix, Destiny Rose Dix, and Summer Dawn (Joshua Keeling) Dix, all of Jamestown; four grandchildren, Gavin Lee James Owens, Oakley Ryan Keeling, Nolan Lee Weston, Rylee Kate Keeling; one brother; and four sisters.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by one brother.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Harold Richards officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service on Sunday, at Bernard Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations of sympathy be made to Bernard Funeral Home, to help offset expenses.
