Two Nancy residents were indicted recently on federal drug and weapon charges.
41-year-old Joseph A. Ditto and 37-year-old Nikka Delain Dykes are facing federal and state charges connected to an investigation and arrest last month.
Ditto was charged in federal court with Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or more of a Methamphetamine Mixture and Possession of a Firearm in Furtherance of a Drug Trafficking Offense.
Dykes is facing a federal charge of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Ditto and Dykes are also facing state charges including trafficking of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and other charges.
Dykes and Ditto have pleaded not guilty to charges in both cases.
