The Russell County High School boys’ golf team recorded its best team score of the season during Saturday’s Adair County Invitational at “The Pines” in Columbia.
The Lakers finished the tournament with a team score of 317.
Joe Dudgeon led Russell County with a 75, followed by Gabe Browning with a 78. Gavin Campbell shot an 81, Grider Selby finished with an 83 and Grant Wilson recorded a 91.
The Lakers will compete in two conference matches this week. Russell County will play at Lakewood Country Club on Tuesday before traveling to Monroe County on Wednesday.
