The Russell and Adair County Sheriff’s Offices worked together recently to make an arrest in a theft case.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the Gentry Mill Road area on Thursday to assist the Russell County Sheriff’s Office with the theft investigation.
The investigation resulted in the arrest of 53-year-old Steven Shane Flatt of Columbia. He was charged with receiving stolen property over $1,000 dollars and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
