A 2022 study found there were 78,000 Kentuckians between the ages of 16 and 24 who were not employed or enrolled in school.
A new program in the Lake Cumberland area aims to help bring some of those individuals into the workforce and find a career that suits them.
The program is called Putting Young Kentuckians to Work. BJ Wilkerson from the Lake Cumberland Area Development District was a guest on Community Conversation yesterday and provided more details about the program.
