A Russell Springs woman was indicted on multiple charges in Adair County last week.
Annie Nicole McNelly was indicted by an Adair County grand jury on charges including fleeing or evading police first degree, two counts of wanton endangerment of a police officer, two counts of criminal mischief first degree, and failure to maintain required insurance.
The Adair County Sheriff’s Office said they tried to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by McNelly last month on Highway 80 between Columbia and Russell Springs.
During that attempted traffic stop, the sheriff’s office said McNelly attempted to evade law enforcement and struck two patrol vehicles.
McNelly remains lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
