The Russell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a theft at Salem Elementary School last Friday.
The sheriff’s office said the thefts occurred at around 8:30 last Friday night.
The sheriff’s office said the suspects stole a stand-up propane heater, a propane tank, milk crates, and traffic cones from the school.
Two suspects have been identified, according to the sheriff’s office, and the stolen items have been recovered. Charges are pending on both individuals as the investigation is ongoing.
The investigation is being led by Deputy Chandler Staten with assistance from other members of the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and school officials.
