The Russell Springs City Council will hold its monthly meeting this evening.
The council is expected to hold the first reading of an ordinance to allow special-purpose vehicles to be operated on city streets. This is the same issue recently taken up and approved by the fiscal court.
The council is also expected to hold a second reading and vote on the city’s tax rates at the meeting.
The council will meet at 6 p.m. at City Hall on Main Street.
City council meetings are open to the public.
