U.S. 127 across Wolf Creek Dam will be temporarily closed Wednesday, September 2nd, for ongoing rehabilitation work.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers says the highway will be closed at the dam from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Central Time while crews perform work on the dam’s spillway gates.
Motorists who normally travel across Wolf Creek Dam are encouraged to plan ahead, allow additional travel time and use an alternate route during the eight-hour closure.
