UPDATE (9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5) : The Russell County – Campbellsville football game has been postponed to Saturday, Sept. 6 at 2 p.m.
The Laker Football team will host Campbellsville in the home opener tonight at Finley Field at the First National Bank Athletic Complex.
Kickoff for tonight’s matchup between the Lakers and Eagles is set for 6:30. We’ll have pregame coverage on Laker Country 104.9 with the Stephens Pipe and Steel Countdown to Kickoff getting underway at 5:45.
Both teams are coming off wins last Friday. The Lakers went on the road and defeated LaRue County 35-20 last Friday, while the Eagles defeated Mercer County 56-8.
This is the first meeting between the Lakers and Eagles since 2018.
