Yesterday was the first day of school in Russell County, and Superintendent Michael Ford said the school district had a great first day back in the classroom.
Ford said he was thankful for everyone involved in making the first day back-to-school a success.
Ford said as this school year gets underway, it’s important for parents and guardians to keep an open line of communication and call or email the school with potential issues.
