Russell County Hospital recently received good news with the announcement of a grant that will help fund the Food is Medicine program.
Hospital CEO Scott Thompson discussed what’s ahead for the program.
Thompson also said things are in the works for some programs that will benefit hospital employees as well.
The Food is Medicine program is in partnership with local partners as well as the Kentucky Department of Agriculture.
