Despite some recent construction delays, Russell County Hospital is continuing to look forward toward its planned expansion and renovation.
Russell County Hospital CEO Scott Thompson gave WJRS News a look at recent updates with the construction project.
Thompson said the hospital board of directors is looking forward to getting the project started and gave an idea of when it could be completed if things go according to plan.
The expansion will provide a new operating room, new emergency room, new equipment, a new front lobby registration space and new radiology department, among other improvements.
