At its most recent meeting, the Russell County Board of Education discussed the potential new practice area for the Laker Band.
The topic was raised last month after discussions between Band Director Curtis Ervin and Superintendent Michael Ford.
Ford spoke to WJRS News about the potential project.
No official action was taken at that board meeting on the project.
