New Russell County Lady Laker Volleyball coach Kaylie Coffey is excited to get back to her Russell County roots.
The 2017 Russell County High School graduate was introduced yesterday as the new head coach of the Lady Laker Volleyball program. After graduating from Russell County, Coffey went to Northern Kentucky University to play basketball and then to the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
The Lady Laker Volleyball alumnus said she’s glad to be back home.
Coffey said she’s looking forward to getting to work as coach of the Lady Lakers.
An introduction event was held at the high school yesterday for players and their families to meet and greet Coach Coffey.
