Morehead State catcher Hunter Thomas, a Russell County Laker Baseball alumnus, was named All-OVC 2nd team yesterday.
Thomas led Morehead State in runs scored (46), RBI (55), and hits (74). He tied for second-most RBI in the conference and finished with the third-most hits in the conference.
Thomas hit .325 at the plate on the season, and finished with 19 home runs. His 19 home runs place him tied for 19th in all of Division I baseball.
