Kevin Williams was in Russell County on Sunday, presenting school resource officers with more than $124,000 from this year’s Kevin’s Kids concert.
This year’s total came in at $124,795.94.
The funds are divided between the family resource and youth service centers for each of the five schools in the school district. Each school gets a different amount based on the school’s enrollment.
Williams spoke to WJRS News following the check presentation and said he was grateful for the community’s support.
