Russell Springs Man Arrested After Alleged Animal Abuse in Pulaski County

A Russell Springs man was arrested in Pulaski County on Saturday afternoon following a report of a domestic altercation in which a cat was harmed on Skyview Drive.

When Deputy Noah Dishman arrived at the scene, it was discovered that the cat had an ear bitten off.

Zachary L. Rollins, 22, was arrested and charged with torture of a dog or cat and lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.

Following Rollins’ arrest, Deputy Marcus Harrison filed a warrant related to a separate incident from April involving the deaths of two other cats. Rollins was subsequently charged with two additional counts of torture of a dog or cat.

He is currently being held on a $50,000 bond in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
