Three local students were recognized at the Lindsey Wilson College Honors Convocation.
Haley Cook of Russell Springs was recognized as the recipient of the Elizabeth Lowe Whitfield Nursing Award.
Karli Hurt of Russell Springs received the Communication Department Award.
Benjamin Garland of Jamestown received the Sophomore Outstanding Nursing Student Award.
This year’s ceremony included the presentation of more than 50 awards to students and faculty at the college.
