That’s a decrease from 6 overdose deaths reported locally in 2023 and 8 in 2022.
14 overdose deaths were reported in Pulaski County last year and 6 were reported in Clinton County.
Adair, Casey, Cumberland, and Wayne counties reported fewer than 5 overdose deaths.
Statewide, overdose deaths decreased by around 30 percent.
