The Russell County Fiscal Court met in special session this morning.
The meeting lasted less than five minutes.
Judge Executive Randy Marcum appointed magistrates Steve Richardson and Mickey Garner to the budget committee.
The court also approved transferring around $2,000 from the ABC account to the dispatch account due to a deposit error. Correcting that deposit error was the primary reason for holding the special-called meeting.
The fiscal court’s next regular meeting will take place April 14.
