The Jamestown Fire Department was called out Saturday afternoon to a structure fire on highway 1680 in the Pleasant Hill community. Fire Chief Jeff Landers told WJRS News that a lake home, owned by Judy Johnson, received some damage. Johnson reportedly arrived at the residence about 4:45 Saturday afternoon and discovered heavy smoke throughout the home. When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke and fire on the main floor of the structure. The fire was quickly extinguished and had apparently started in the crawlspace under the main floor. Chief Landers says firemen were on scene about three hours.
