Wolford says school buses are safe way for students to get to and leave school

As school gets underway today, WJRS News recently spoke with Russell County Schools Transportation Director Eric Wolford about bus transportation.

Wolford told WJRS News there are many reasons why school buses are a very safe way for students to get to school and return home.

Around 1,500 Russell County students ride a bus either to school in the morning or home in the afternoon.
