Robertson selected as new Jamestown Council member

Gail Robertson, wife of the late Terry Robertson, was sworn in as the newest member of the Jamestown City Council last night.

Terry served on the council for more than 20 years. He passed away last month at the age of 68.

Mayor Regena Hinton spoke to WJRS News about Gail being appointed to the council.

Gail’s nomination was approved by a unanimous vote from the council. She was sworn-in to the position following the vote by City Attorney H.K. Cooper.
