The Kentucky Supreme Court voted last week to remove Pulaski County Circuit Court Clerk J.S. Flynn from his office.
Flynn has been on paid leave for two years after complaints were filed against him alleging that Flynn created a hostile work environment. The allegations against Flynn included inappropriate sexual conduct and yelling at employees.
Flynn was appointed to the position in 2018 after the resignation of his grandfather, who held the office for more than 30 years. Flynn then won an election for the office in 2018.
Flynn is eligible to run for election to the office this year, and records show he filed for election on Dec. 27. As of now, he is the only candidate to file for Pulaski County Circuit Court Clerk.
