The Russell County 11U All-Stars baseball team won the West Kentucky Cal Ripken State Championship in Owensboro over the weekend, defeating Owensboro Western by a score of 4-1.
The team will now advance to the Ohio Valley Regional Tournament next Thursday in Lexington.
