RCMS Softball remains undefeated with win over Adair

The Russell County Middle School Softball team remained undefeated with a 17-0 win over Adair County on Friday.

Brylie Jo Hardwick pitched a 3 inning no-hitter, striking out 3 of the 9 batters she faced.

The Lady Lakers scored 3 runs in the first inning, and then followed it up with a 14-run second inning to pick up the win and move to 7-0 on the season.

Addy Abrell and Rylen McGowan each finished with 2 hits and 3 RBI. Hardwick and Madelyn Roy each drove in two runs.

The Lady Lakers have the week off, but will be back in action next Monday, April 11, when they go on the road to take on Casey County.
