Irene R. Mann, 87, of Russell Springs, passed away Saturday, October 31st, at her residence.
Irene was born in Albany, KY on November 8, 1938, a daughter of the late Allie (Poindexter) and Jessie Akin. She was a homemaker. 
Survivors include:
Two daughters – Sharon Cooper (Jamie Newton) of Russell Springs; Wanda Vonfumetti-Pierce (David) of Russell Springs
Three sons – Bobby G. Mann (Betty) of Russell Springs; Ernest Mann (Eva) of Monticello; David Mann (Jeanie) of Albany
Three sisters – Mary Treadwell (Kenneth) of TX; Eva Stanbaugh (Jim) of TX; Glenda Carter Ring (Greg) of NC
One brother – Freddie Akin (Rita) of Burkesville
Other survivors – 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobby F. Mann, grandson Jason Mann, sisters Elizabeth Walker, Laura Chambless, and Roxie Williams, brothers Joe and George Akin.
Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd at H. E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Ernest Mann and Bro. David McCarty officiating.
Friends may call for visitation after 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2nd and again from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 3rd at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY.
Burial will be in the Mann Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.
