The Russell County Lady Laker soccer team earned a pair of shutout victories over the Clinton County Lady Bulldogs Tuesday evening.
In varsity action, Russell County rolled to an 8-nothing win. Addison Coffey led the offense with five goals and one assist. Madison Bennett, Kambyr Bradshaw and Rosalyn Fuentes each added a goal.
Mailee Cooper recorded three assists, while Bennett and Fuentes contributed two assists apiece.
The Lady Laker junior varsity team also shut out Clinton County, winning 4-nothing. Mackenzie Bennett and Haylee Brown scored two goals each, with assists from Ava McFarland and Jorge Bennett.
Russell County returns to action Thursday, September 3rd, at Casey County. The match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
