Russell County authorities are searching for a missing 11-year-old boy in the Fairview community.
According to the Russell County Sheriff’s Department, Joshua Thomas Wilson was last seen at approximately 8:30 Sunday night and was discovered missing around 8:30 Monday morning.
Authorities say Joshua reportedly took a bag of clothes and a pair of camouflage HeyDude shoes from the front porch. He was last seen wearing black basketball shorts.
The Russell County Sheriff’s Department and Russell County Search & Rescue are searching in the area of Village Drive, just off KY Highway 910 east of Russell Springs.
A Kentucky State Police aircraft and K-9 unit have also been requested and are responding to assist with the search.
Anyone who sees Joshua or has information about his whereabouts should immediately call 911 or the Russell County Sheriff’s Department at 270-343-2191.
