The Adair County Sheriff’s Department has released its monthly activity report, highlighting the agency’s workload for the month of July.
According to Sheriff Gary Roy, deputies served 48 warrants of arrest and opened 7 criminal investigations. Deputies also completed 7 call response reports and worked 11 domestic abuse cases.
The department investigated 25 traffic accidents, handled 12 out-of-county prisoner transports, and issued 17 criminal citations. Deputies also served 94 civil process papers, 3 criminal summonses, and 55 subpoenas.
Court-related duties remained a significant part of the department’s responsibilities, with deputies providing 272 hours of court security.
In addition, the Adair County Sheriff’s Department responded to 20 animal complaints, assisted with 6 motorist assists, answered 978 calls to 911, and handled 10 alcohol- or drug-related incidents during the month.
The monthly report reflects the wide range of law enforcement and public safety services provided by the Adair County Sheriff’s Department.
