Meth Charges Filed After Two Early Morning Traffic Stops in Russell County

Russell County authorities made two drug-related arrests during separate early morning traffic stops Monday.

Russell Springs Police Officer Chris Tweedy arrested 37-year-old Joshua Foley of Columbia during a traffic stop around 4:30 a.m. Foley was charged with no operator’s license and possession of methamphetamine.

About 45 minutes later, around 5:15 a.m., Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Devin Blakey arrested 38-year-old Brandon Hull of Campbellsville during a separate traffic stop. Hull was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both men were lodged in the Russell County Detention Center.
