A Danville man is facing several charges following a single-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Jamestown.
According to authorities, 25-year-old Robert Armstrong of Danville was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputy Stone Bolin. Armstrong is charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, and disregarding a traffic control device.
Police say Armstrong ran the red light at the intersection of the U.S. 127 Bypass, the vehicle he was operating continued onto Clear Springs Road, left the right side of the roadway, traveled through a small lot of brush, then struck a vehicle parked at a residence.
