Russell Springs Police responded to a two-vehicle collision on West Highway 80 yesterday afternoon in which a vehicle rolled and landed upside down in the roadway.
Russell Springs Police say it happened just after noon yesterday near the intersection with Old Columbia Road.
Police say a Chevy Equinox operated by 47-year-old Brian Warriner of Russell Springs collided with the rear of a 2009 Mitsubishi Galant operated by 27-year-old Nebraska Ryan James Laub of Missouri.
The collision caused Warriner’s vehicle to roll and land upside down in the roadway.
Russell County EMS and the Russell Springs Fire Department responded to the scene as well, but neither driver was transported for medical treatment from the collision.
Warriner was arrested and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center on charges including operating a vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance – second offense, driving without a license, and failure to maintain insurance.
